Setting per-variant COGS overrides

Sometimes the cost-per-item stored in Shopify isn't your true cost — for instance, dropship stores often ship from a supplier at a landed cost different from what Shopify has on file.

To override a variant's COGS without touching Shopify:

1. Open the Product Analytics tab.
2. Find the variant in the table (or use the search box).
3. Click the cost cell. An input opens.
4. Enter the override and press Enter.

The override applies to all future orders for that variant. Historical orders keep the cost they were calculated with.

To bulk-set overrides for many variants, use the CSV import on the Settings → Cost Overrides page. Upload a 2-column CSV (variant ID, cost), and NeoProfit applies them all in one shot.
