NeoProfit Starter is $9.50/mo (early adopter pricing — 50% off). Every NeoProfit tier — Starter, Growth, Scale — ships the same feature set; you pay for order volume, not for unlocking dashboards you assumed were already included. TrueProfit's Basic tier is $35/mo, and several features people typically expect from a "profit app" sit higher up the ladder.
The biggest gating gap is Marketing Attribution, which is on TrueProfit's Enterprise tier ($200/mo) only. Product Analytics requires Advanced ($60/mo). If those features are part of why you're shopping for a profit app at all, that's worth knowing before you compare list prices.
When a customer disputes a charge, Shopify Payments deducts a $15 fee in the US — even if you win the dispute and recover the order revenue. NeoProfit surfaces those fees as their own line in your P&L and tracks each dispute through to win or loss, so the fee outcome ends up in your real net.
TrueProfit's published changelog (back to May 2023) and current App Store feature list don't mention chargeback-fee tracking or dispute-outcome reporting. Their January 2026 transaction-fee overhaul pulls Stripe and PayPal data, but chargeback fees and dispute outcomes aren't surfaced as discrete signals at the time of writing.

If you sell bundles or multi-packs and your supplier ships them together at a combined rate, the difference between per-shipment and per-line-item shipping math is usually the largest unseen cost on your dashboard. Below is the same 3-pack example using the same numbers as the founder story.
