Bundle Shipping Profit Calculator
See exactly how much margin most profit apps hide when your supplier ships multi-item orders as one box. Edit any input — totals update instantly.
What most profit apps do: they look at your per-item shipping rate — say $4.20 — and multiply it by the number of items in the order. A 3-pack becomes $12.60 in reported shipping cost. That number gets subtracted from your revenue, which means your net profit reads lower than what actually hit your bank account. The app isn't doing anything "wrong" by its own logic — it just doesn't know your supplier ships multi-item orders as one box at a combined rate.
What actually happens: your supplier charges one shipment fee for the whole order — $6.80 for a 3-pack, not $4.20 × 3. The correct calculation subtracts that single $6.80 from revenue, not the per-item multiple. The difference — $5.80 in this example — is profit that genuinely exists but never appears in your dashboard. At 200 orders per month that's $1,160 of real margin disappearing from your P&L every single month, $13,920 per year.
The calculator above uses these exact formulas. Wrong net = revenue − (COGS × items) − (per-item rate × items) − processing fee − ad spend. Real net = revenue − (COGS × items) − bundle rate − processing fee − ad spend. The delta between them is the hidden margin.
